Before Ed's 2001 arrival at AKD, he served as a principal officer at major regional brokers and held various sales and management positions. That followed a decade in marketing, management and underwriting for a global insurance company.

Ed holds an honor achieved by fewer than 2% of the insurance community, representing the most knowledgeable insurance practitioners – that of designations from The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors and the Insurance Institute of America.
